2024-2025 EOPOS Outreach Request Form
The Office of Educational Opportunity Programs, Outreach and Success (EOPOS) at San Diego State University seeks to educate, empower, and motivate students and loved ones from historically underserved and underrepresented communities by providing innovative recruitment, transitional and retention services to attain a university degree.

Please note, we are able to accommodate requests for the fall semester between early September and the first week of December. Spring requests are accommodated between late January and the first week of May

Due to our transitional programs during the summer, we are unable to accommodate requests during those months.

All requests must be made a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the date requested. EOPOS is unavailable on Thursdays between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.

*Campus excursions are often led by student guides who walk visitors around campus and speak on their personal experience utilizing resources, dining rooms, study spaces, and/or recreational areas.

*Presentations are open to high school groups only and include information about the following programs within EOPOS, depending on the student demographic:
  • Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
  • Guardian Scholars Program
  • Price Community Scholars Program
  • Compact Scholars Program

For in-person events at SDSU San Diego, EOPOS is unable to accommodate groups larger than 50 students. Due to staffing limitations, we are unable to accommodate multiple requests for groups larger than 50 simultaneously or back to back. Please only submit one request for a group no larger than 50 students.
Maximum Number of Chaperones Attending: *
EOPOS requires groups to have one chaperone per 20 students (for high school and community college students) and one chaperone per 10-12 students (for elementary and middle school students). The chaperones are responsible for behavior management during the event. EOPOS campus excursion leaders are SDSU students/volunteers and are not equipped to manage student behavior. Should discipline become a concern, the tour may end early. 

Please ensure chaperones are aware of the responsibility as they are required to stay with the students at all times. No exceptions will be made.
